I came in because I had just gotten a haircut elsewhere, and the barber did not render a good cut. He had used a tool called ‘thinning shears’, which I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. It may depend on hair types, but they make my hair look terrible. I was really mad he didn’t ask as I had personal knowledge about thinning shears and would have told him NO WAY! Anyhoo, I came to this Hair Cuttery seeking a fix. Whomever helped me when I called set my up with a Master Stylist that they thought could rectify the damage done. I believe her name was Gyssenia (I’m so sorry if I’m mis-spelling her name!). She was very understanding of why I wasn’t happy with my look and she did an outstanding job of slowly re-shaping my hair! I thought it may be unsolvable but it looks great now. I’m extremely grateful. She listened, took her time and had a very patient and professional attitude that made me feel comfortable. Again, I highly recommend no one ever use thinning shears. I wish they were never invented so I wouldn’t have to worry about them.
